Welcome to Pickleball Is Life!  My name is Darren Anderson.  I am an NCCP certified Pickleball instructor in the Victoria, BC area.  I am teaching youth pickleball in elementary schools for the Victoria Regional Pickleball Association (VRPA).  I am offering pickleball lessons and pickleball play groups (see the details below).  If you can play weekdays at Topaz and have a skill level 3.75 to 4.5 then email me to join my free play group (PickleballisLife.ca@gmail.com).

Pickleball Lessons:

My Pickleball lessons are small group lessons (4 to 8 players) for $12 per hour per person or $48 per court (max 4 per court) for private/family/friends/youth lessons.

Pickleball Play Groups:

I am organizing pickleball play groups. See details on the Pickleball Play Groups page.  Registration and play is individual and the court fee is $8 per player.  8 players at similar skill level, guaranteed 7 round robin doubles games in the 2 hour period.  I plan to do weekly play groups with tight skill level brackets like 3.5 to 4.0 and 4.0 to 4.5.  This is the best way to prepare for a big tournament and to confirm your skill level.  Non-DUPR to start but may consider entering game scores into DUPR later (to build your DUPR rating for indoor leagues and tournaments).

The New Victoria Topaz Park Pickleball courts are Open!

The hours are from 7am to 10pm and there are lights. Courts 1 to 3 are for free drop-in play.  Courts 4 to 11 are bookable for $10 per hour per court at the City of Victoria Perfectmind website (click by court number below).  Play for free if the courts are not booked.  The entrance is through the skate park.  I am orgaizing free drop-in play sessions at Topaz on weekdays.
